You and Samantha were like family throughout the planning process for the most important event of our lives. Your website is more organized and thorough than I could have anticipated. Free of charge, it helped us design our wedding ceremony, program and reception activities. We used your dj (Jay), photography (Khaaliq) and videography (Bruce) services and got the five star treatment and service for better than a thousand cheaper than many other premiere companies. Just look at our wedding and reception pics and you will see the elegant yet fun atmosphere your staff created. School Reunion 10-13-12

Jay did a wonderful job. We requested 8 songs from the 80's, we graduated in 1982 and he continued to play music from the 80's the whole evening, it was awesome!  This was my third time using Michigan DJ services, once for a school dance, my daughter graduation party, and lastly my reunion. My youngest daughter's grad party is the summer of 2014, so you'll be hearing from me again.  In the meantime I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family.

They answered all our questions and were readily available. The lighting and music was wonderful. The dance floor seemed to be always full, and the gobo was absolutely AMAZING! James had everyone on the floor and was just a remarkable DJ! Our wedding day was perfection from start to finish! Jonel did an amazing job as our DJ! He played fun music that pleased the crowd and got everyone dancing! He was very accommodating to our request as well as our guests! I keep telling everyone how pleased I was with our room lighting! It created a beautiful atmosphere and added a rich touch to our room. Out of our wedding expense, the room lighting package was worth every penny. Samantha couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating! Just wanted to say job well done.  I would definately use Michigan DJ again.  Eric did a great job and was very friendly!   Although, I think I had him working a bit harder on some games i had planned outside he was very accommodating with what ever I said to him.  The music choice was basically up to him besides a few songs we wanted to here.  Thanks again - for letting me to reschedule this date.  Everything  was "perfect"

I know this is very delayed, but I wanted to thank you for your services.  My daughter got married August 3 - and her original DJ backed out just a few short months prior to the event.  We were fortunate enough to have your company referred to us.  I always said a wedding is remembered by the food and the music.  Well James did a phenomenal job.  My biggest concern as mom was that people wouldn't have a good time.  And with older people in attendance, that the music would be so loud that they couldn't talk to each other. during the initial interview you explained that the sound system would allow the volume to be directed only to the dance floor so people who were at the tables could continue to talk.  I was skeptical, but it was just fine.  As for the actual DJ - the Dancing NEVER slowed down.  James kept the action lively all night long.  The party was over, the Hall was actually stacking chairs and people still did not want to leave.  I attribute a large part of that to your services.  So thank you very much for such an enjoyable evening.

When discussing my daughter's graduation open house, she said what she would really love to do was have a party where she and her friends could dance the night away.  So, we threw out all the "traditional open house" ideas, and went with a plan to host a dance party at our church's pavilion.  I discovered your website while surfing the internet, and taking a huge leap of faith, decided to book your company for the music.  I'm so happy I did!  First of all, your website is awesome...very professional and easy to use.  My daughter absolutely loved being able to go on the site to request the music she wanted to hear, and any songs that she did not want played.  We appreciated your being in contact with us periodically about the event, and I especially liked the personal e-mail note sent the week before the big night, as it made me feel like there was a real person I was dealing with. Our DJ, Brad, called us the week before the event to introduce himself and chat about our expectations, and his, which was a nice surprise.  When the big night arrived, Brad arrived on time and looking very professional.  He did an absolutely fabulous job with the music during the entire evening.  He played all the music we requested, and was friendly to the guests without being intrusive or too chatty on the microphone.  Most importantly, he got the crowd dancing--even the "older" crowd!  We had many compliments about how good the music was, and we will gladly recommend your company to our friends and family members for their events.  At the end of the evening, my daughter gave me a hug and said, "Thanks, Mom...it was just perfect."So I'd like to say to you . . . thank you Brad and Michigan DJ Service for making my daughter's special evening "just perfect."   Mary E. We had the pleasure of having Jay as our DJ during our special day.  Jay was incredible and played exactly what we had requested leading up to the event.  My wife was so happy with the music that was playing during dinner.  After dinner, there was rarely a moment when someone was not on the dance floor dancing.

Jay was fun, professional, and your services will certainly be highly recommended.  My Best Man chose your services after intense internet research and feedback about other service providers from our friends and family.  Everyone- me, my wife, and our family and friends were thoroughly impressed with our first experience with Michigan DJ Service, and especially Jay.

We left literally a few hours after our ceremony to go on our honeymoon.  Once we returned last week, ALL of our friends and family contacted us and complimented the DJ service!  Your company- and Jay- offered all of us such a fun night.  Kelli and I have both attended many weddings that had far larger budgets and were far less fun.  I am sure you understand that the DJ is literally in charge of the energy in the room, on and off the dance floor.  Jay took charge and kept everyone moving and smiling.
